I want to try something different from glasses for a while.
This has let me to start digging up info on Purevision Multifocal Contact Lenses. A reasonably good option, apparently.
I wonder if my friends will recognized me without the specs. We’ll see.

The main trend that is happening in womens makeup as of 2009 is getting the most natural look that you can get. Women are trying to wear their makeup as if they have no makeup on all. This follows a trend that was focused on how to apply eyeliner. Eyeliner was more apparent before this new trend but now it is put on very lightly in order compliment the eyes but not be noticed.

I have been suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome for the last 5 years. I have been to several doctors and not one of them was able to help me control my symptoms. It was not until I started doing my own research that I was able to understand how going on an irritable bowel diet could change my life. I was able to understand how certain foods would trigger a reaction. I now feel like I can live again. I have been able to regained control of my life. No more missing work. I can now travel again. I feel like a totally new person.

Stem cell research has become a subject of contention. Even though Umbilical Stem Cells and adult stem cells are relatively easy to harvest, how far should science take stem cell research? Just because science is able to do something, should it be done? These are some of the questions being asked and discussed today. Will it lead us to growing a human body in a lab? And if it does, is it ethically responsible. Other concerns include, who should be paying for this research, the government? Some feel this is very questionable. These are not yes or no, right or wrong answers, they are based on how an individual feels about the situation and his value system.

Your body’s major source of energy comes from a type of fat found in your body called triglycerides. A person of a healthy weight does not have to worry about an excess of these fat cells, but those who carry a high level can be diagnosed with hypertriglyceridemia. When there is an excess of triglycerides in your body, it can contribute to coronary artery disease in many people. Hypertriglyceridemia may also be related to other diseases such as diabetes mellitus. Your plasma measurements can detect a high level in both tri’s and cholesterol. These measurements should only be taken after you have had an overnight food and alcohol fast in order to get a proper reading.

Most forms of cancer of the bone is found in children as young as 3 or 4 years old to around the age of 30 years old, although generally it is diagnosed in those between the ages of 10-20 years of age. Occasionally women are diagnosed with bone cancer, however, more men or Caucasian descent contracts this type of cancer of the bone. There is one type of cancer; however that does not normally affect a younger age bracket but rather an older age group. This cancer form is called Chondrosarcoma and generally affects women and mostly men over the age of 50 years old. A bone cancer cure has not been found yet, but scientists and researchers are working tirelessly to find one.

Breakfast has become known as the “most important meal of the day”. Most people don’t realize that means choosing healthy options like fresh fruit and oatmeal. It most certainly does not include items like fried eggs, bacon, hash browns loaded with butter and pancakes served with a mound of butter and syrup! Make the healthy choice and choose whole grain bread instead of white bread, omitting butter but adding low fat cottage cheese and a little sugar free jam instead or try some fat free yogurt served with fresh fruit and low fat granola mixed in. If you are dining out at a nicer restaurant, you can be certain that you will be offered healthier options for meals, but be weary that upper scale restaurants tend to make food very rich by adding a large amount of butter or margarine (which is extremely high in saturated fats). Ask your server if they have any low fat items or specials on their menu. If they do not, ask for a lean piece of meat made without butter or sauces. Choosing healthy food options is a fantastic way to keep your cholesterol numbers down to a healthy and manageable level.

The truth is that you can ask for a raise any time you are worth it, though please give consideration to the times at which an employer typically gives raises. What I mean is that if your pharmacy recruitment agency often gives increases at the end of a fiscal or calendar year then you may want to ask on their schedule.

I am surprised at how many people do not adopt a program of healthy eating. After all this really is the way to go. If you keep yourself fit and trim then in the long run you will be far better off financially as you do not have to pay for so many medical bills and long term care. It is a crime that so many people eat as poorly as they do. There are people starving all throughout the world and we Americans self inflict medical problems because of the food that we eat. We must stop this practice right now, and start following some kind of healthy eating guidelines to our everyday life.
