Acid Reflux In Pregnancy

Acid reflux during pregnancy is a common phenomena in almost 80-85% of women. This is a result of hormonal changes in the body. The best way to combat acid reflux in pregnancy is through proper diet and avoiding food which trigger acid reflux. You should drink milk not at night but in the morning or evening hours in moderate amounts only. Avoid coffee, citrus food, chocolates though there may be cravings for such food. Try to eat in small amounts and divide it into five small meals. Avoid high fat food and stick to healthy fatty acids in fruits and fishes. Avoid alcohol completely and forget smoking at least till that period you feed your baby with breast milk. Drink plenty of water and take help of little amount of ginger which can reduce acid reflux easily.
